Would you like to try your hand at flying a microlight? And why not on 3 different machines? That's what Olivier, pilot and instructor, is offering you during this introductory flying session. You'll be given an introduction to each class of microlight: tiltrotor, gyrocopter and multi-axis.
Flying a microlight in Béarn: a change of scenery guaranteed
Departing from Vieilleségure, you'll fly over the peaks of the Béarn region, such as the Pic d'Anie and the Pic d'Arlas, as well as the gorges of the Basque Country: Kakuetta and Holzarte. You'll also have the chance to admire the lush green landscapes of the region.
Course of the initiation :
- Welcome at the Vielleségure base and presentation of the microlights.
- 30-minute briefing on the ground: operation of the machines and instructions to be followed.
- Installation in the microlight and final ground instructions.
- You will make 3 flights of 20 minutes each during which you will try your hand at basic piloting.
- Return to the ground after a soft landing and debrief your pilot on this wonderful experience.

- Flights take place all year round, every day except Wednesday.
- The reservation slot is theoretical; the exact time of your flight will be confirmed as soon as your reservation has been confirmed.
- The activity is subject to weather conditions. If the conditions are not met, you will be offered a postponement.
- Bring warm clothing for the flight, as it can be cold at altitude, closed shoes and sunglasses.
