Activity description :

Give in to the temptation of an introduction to microlight piloting in exceptional conditions. The sensation of flying in these small planes is incomparable. You'll have the chance to meet a passionate team and enjoy unique landscapes! The3-axis microlight is a fixed-wing aircraft piloted by rudders, elevators and ailerons. You are seated in an enclosed, multi-seat cabin with large windows.

Maine-et-Loire: the ideal playground for microlighting

Departing from Cholet, you'll fly over the lush green landscapes of the Anjou region, between vineyards and typical villages. Cholet, Angers and Saumur will hold no secrets for you.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome by the pilot: introductions, briefing, explanation of the microlight's features & safety instructions.
• Boarding and take-off from Cholet airfield.
• Flight of 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the formula chosen.
• Landing and debriefing with your pilot.

Several options are available:

• 30-minute initiation: 15-minute briefing on the basics of piloting, discovery of the different flight paths, flight controls and essential on-board instruments. Followed by a 30-minute handling flight: you'll learn how to start the engine, taxi, take off and climb to cruising altitude. You'll discover 3 dimensions, turns and precision instrument flying.
• One-hour initiation: same briefing and handling flight + lap flight (30 minutes): you'll learn how pilots integrate a field in preparation for landing, perform the approach and landing procedures and learn the landing exercise + Touch & Go.

You'll then be presented with a pilot initiation certificate, before leaving with a lifetime of memories!
