Looking for a thrill? Come and try kayak rafting!

Kayak-Raft in the Var

Guided tour - Duration 2h to 4h of navigation - Class II to III river - From 6 years upwards

The kayak-raft is a small raft for 1 or 2 people, inspired by the canoe-kayak. More sporty and dynamic than classic rafting, it offers thrills and great freedom: you're the only one (or two) on board.

Your guide: she accompanies you throughout the descent, gives you instructions on propulsion and direction, and looks after your safety.

How does it work?

  • When you arrive, you are given your individual equipment and logistics are organized.
  • Then dry gear is deposited in the guide's vehicle (to be retrieved on arrival).
  • Pre-shuttle: a participant follows the guide by car to drop off his vehicle at the bottom of the course (≈ 20 min).
  • Briefing: 15 min to present the course, equipment, navigation and safety instructions.
  • 🚣 Descent: navigation to the finish point, with swimming breaks and short paddle schools.
  • After the activity: recovery of dry goods, reloading of equipment, then shuttle back to pick up vehicles.

Ideal for a convivial adventure, rafting is accessible to all: alone, with family or friends, or for an EVG/EVJF. You can also enjoy a swim during the descent!
