Course of the workshop (1h) :

• Welcome and presentation of Kumihimo, a traditional Japanese weaving technique.
• Discover the basics of this delicate art and its many possibilities.
• Make your own circular cardboard braiding loom.
• Choose your colors from a selection of cotton yarns.
• Try your hand at braiding by making your own bracelet.
• Finalize your creation for a harmonious, personalized piece of jewelry.

At the end of the workshop, each participant will leave with his or her own braided bracelet, cardboard loom and a mini instruction sheet for reproducing the technique at home. A creative and convivial workshop to share a moment of discovery and creation for two.
