What is a microlight flight?

A microlight is a small, closed aircraft that can accommodate up to 2 people: the pilot and 1 passenger. It's the perfect ultra-light, motorised craft for discovering the thrill of powered flight and enjoying the scenery while sheltered from the elements. Much lighter than an aeroplane, it's a great way to discover the thrill of flying through the air and the feeling of gliding along safely.

You can fly a Bristell XL8 microlight, SKY ranger, tiltrotor or gyrocopter.

Course of your microlight flight in Valence :

You will be met at Valence-Chabeuil airport so that you can get to know your pilot and he can show you the machine you will be flying in.
You will be given a safety briefing on the rules to be observed on board the microlight.
You will then put on a connected headset provided by your pilot so that you can communicate easily with him/her during the flight.
You will then board the microlight and head to the end of the runway for one of the highlights of the flight: take-off!
You'll gradually gain altitude and discover the panorama that awaits you: the Rhone Valley, the Vercors and the Ardèche. You'll also discover the city of Valence and the surrounding area.
You'll then return to Valence aerodrome for a smooth landing. This will be an opportunity to recover from your emotions and share your feelings with your pilot.
