Mont Saint-Michel: an exceptional location for a microlight flight

Located in the Manche département (50), in the Normandy region, Mont Saint-Michel is a French heritage marvel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's a rocky islet at the heart of which stands the Mont Saint-Michel abbey.

You can choose from 2 types of microlight:

• Pendular ULM is a very popular type of ULM: it's a two-seater with a delta-type wing that you'll find on hang-gliders.
• The ULM Autogire is a two-seater ultralight aircraft with a rotating propeller much like a helicopter. This aircraft is particularly fast and maneuverable.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome at the airfield: briefing on safety instructions and the flight schedule.
• Equipment (helmet, jacket) and boarding of the microlight.
• Take-off: 20 to 60 minutes flight over the Normandy and Brittany landscapes. You can communicate with the pilot throughout the flight.
• Soft landing on the airfield and debriefing with the professional pilot.

Several options are available:

• Flight over the Mont (20 min.): you'll fly around the Mont Saint-Michel or vertically over the Mont.
• Bay flight (30 mins): discover Mont Saint-Michel, the bay and the Champeaux cliffs.
• Emotional flight (45 mins.): take a trip around the bay of Mont Saint-Michel. You'll discover a wide range of landscapes from the air, including the Champeaux cliffs, the beaches of Carolles and Jullouville, Granville... or on the Breton side: Cherrueix and its long beaches, the bay of Cancale and its bouchots.
• Vol Passion (60 mins.): you can choose the route of your choice from Mont Saint-Michel and the Breton coast (mussel beds, Cherrueix, Cancale, Pointe du Grouin) or the eastern route with the cliffs of Champeaux, Carolles, Jullouville, Granville...
