Activity description :

Come and discover Noémie's world of natural vegetable dyeing. During this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to learn Shibori (tye-dye), a technique that combines folding, knotting and clamping to produce results of varying complexity.

Course of the activity (2h) :

• Theoretical part on vegetable dyeing and the origins of Shibori.
• Then it's time to get hands-on: you'll make a dye bath, then practice Shibori: folding, knotting and tightening to create reserves and patterns.
• You will dye 2 cotton napkins.
• You'll be given an introductory guide to help you reproduce the technique at home.
