A growing collection of more than 9,000 cannabis-related artifacts inspired the founder of Amsterdam’s Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museum to open this museum in Barcelona.

Ben Dronkers opened a new location in 2012 in a Modernist palace in Barcelona: the Palau Mornau, a stunning building constructed in the 15th century and renovated in 1908 by the Modernist architect Raspall.

• Just a short walk from La Rambla, you can explore the culture and history of cannabis through paintings, photographs, videos, and unique artifacts.
• The unique permanent exhibition showcases the development of the cannabis plant as a versatile resource for industrial, nutritional, medicinal, sacramental, and recreational purposes.
• Check out the hemp plants growing on the balconies during the growing season, and use a photo booth to share your experience.
