Built on the southern slope of the Saint-Cloud estate, Maison des Jardies was originally a simple winegrower's dwelling. Its restful setting, ideally located near Paris, attracted personalities in the 19th century, who left their mark on the site.

Discover without further ado the house that welcomed two major figures in 19th-century French history! Honoré de Balzac and Léon Gambetta.
The property was listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1991 and has been awarded the Maison des Illustres label since 2011.
