Built on the southern slope of the Saint-Cloud estate, Maison des Jardies was originally a simple winegrower's dwelling. Its restful setting, ideally located near Paris, attracted personalities in the 19th century, who left their mark on the site.

La Maison des Jardies 🏡

  • Discover without further ado the house that welcomed two major figures in 19th-century French history! Honoré de Balzac and Léon Gambetta.
  • The property was listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments in 1991 and has been awarded the Maison des Illustres label since 2011.
