Working as a team, you'll have to foil a plot hatched in the groves of the Château de Versailles. Teamwork and collective thinking are the keys to solving this murky investigation.

The scenario - "Poisons and plots

Duration: 2h - Self-guided - Ages 10 and up

1679: we're in the middle of the Poisons Affair, one of the greatest criminal cases in French history. Louis XIV is stunned to learn that a large part of the Versailles court is involved. Gabriel Nicolas de la Reynie, first lieutenant general of the police, is put in charge of the investigation.Despite the will of Louis XIV and the tenacity of Nicolas de la Reynie, the mastermind has never been unmasked!

8 suspects among the kingdom's greatest names. 3 centuries later, it's up to you to set the record straight!

How does it work?

• A member of the team will hand out instructions in a sealed envelope, along with a mysterious vial of poison. If you fail, we'll ask you to drink it with dignity!
  In 2025, we're down to 564 poisoned people. Will you join them?
• You'll explore the castle's groves on your own, to finally unmask the culprit.
