The Durance is a large river formed by numerous glacial torrents; it's ideal for a first whitewater experience or for family cruises. It features large, impressive but relatively easy wave trains, making it probably the best whitewater river in France, followed by the Drac .

Hydrospeed on the Durance at Embrun

Guided tour - 2h30 - Class III / IV river - From 12 years old

This is one of the best-known and most popular rivers forhydrospeeding! Its source lies at 2290m on the slopes of the summit of Les Anges, and flows into the Rhône near Avignon.

Your guide: you will be accompanied by Jean-Michel or a member of his team. All our instructors are state-qualified and guarantee maximum safety.

How does it work?

Following a briefing, the guides will give you a few technical tips and teach you the essentials before you take to the water. Then it's off down the Durance River.

Activity calendar :

May - June - September: Departures at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
July - August : Departures: 9 a.m.; 12:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.
