Wood dough girdle puppet workshop in Paris

Open to children ages 8 and up, this 5-day workshop (5 afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) gives you the opportunity to create a wood-pulp glove puppet from start to finish. Valentina will guide you through the process of creating your little character and provide all the advice you need.

Workshop Schedule (3 days, 5 hours/day):

• Shaping the head and hands
• Cutting out the glove (the puppet’s costume)
• Sewing or gluing
• Painting the head and hands
• Assembly phase to complete the puppet.
• Introduction to puppetry: guided exercises in puppetry and stage expression.
• Writing a short story—either collaboratively or individually—to be staged.
• Presentation.
