Your Truffaut store invites you to take part in a lawn workshop. You'll be able to learn all the essential steps for easy lawn sowing and get fast, attractive and, above all, long-lasting results in no time at all! We'll also be sharing tips on how to maintain your lawn, replant a damaged lawn or ensure your garden stays green all year round.

This workshop takes place in 2 parts: a theoretical part indoors and a practical part outdoors.

Workshop schedule (2h):

Theory:

• Introduction and discovery of the different types of turf, their respective uses and their advantages/requirements.
• You'll learn when and how to sow grass (sowing period, manual and mechanical techniques, etc.).
• How to ensure regular maintenance (mowing, mulching, watering, fertilizing, scarification, weeding, etc.).
• How to solve common lawn problems (yellowing grass, random growth, recurring weeds...)

Hands-on :

• Demonstration and practical exercises (outdoors):
  • Preparing the soil: turning over, decompacting, levelling the ground, weeding and cleaning the soil, amending and improving drainage, scratching the soil, using a rake and roller, seeding
  • Sow regularly and sufficiently
  • Maintain the lawn: mowing, watering, scarifying...
