• For this perfect blend of a walking tour of the city and a culinary experience, we’ll meet at Plaça de l’Àngel, in the heart of Ciutat Vella.
• The tour begins at a historic tapas bar on Carrer de la Mercè, in the Gothic Quarter, with fried anchovies, a tomato salad, and a botifarra pincho.
• On Carrer del Regomir, we’ll head to a second spot for pan con tomate, Padrón peppers, and a potato omelet, accompanied by a glass of cava.
• Next, we stop at Plaça de Sant Josep Oriol, behind the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi, to sample some of the city’s best pintxos.
• In Plaça de Sant Jaume, one of Barcelona’s oldest bakeries serves crema catalana, Catalonia’s official dessert.
