Discover the bread-making workshop at the Ferme de Gally in Saint-Denis and take home your very own loaf!

Over the course of 45 minutes, aspiring bakers will learn how to make their own bread. They’ll discover the secrets of wheat and kneading! The activity ends with a tasting of bread fresh from the wood-fired oven, prepared by the instructor. Children will take home their own dough to bake at home.

Included with ticket purchase:

Access to the entire farm and all its animals: goats, sheep, pigs, a horse, a donkey, rabbits, and chickens.
Access to the museum to discover farming techniques of the past, present, and future through an exhibition of antique tools and vintage videos filmed by the farm’s former market gardeners.
Every day around 5:30 p.m., children can enter the animal enclosures accompanied by a staff member.

My son and I had a great time at this urban farm. The icing on the cake was the opening of the animal pens. He had great difficulty separating from Raspail, the horse. Frankly, it's something to be repeated as often as possible, especially for a little city dweller like mine.

Great workshop with a very kind facilitator who explained things with a lot of patience and pedagogy. I don't know her first name, but I do know that she used to be a school teacher, and this experience is immediately apparent. Thanks to her, my son Amir-Ali really enjoyed making bread with his cousins. I'd love to do this workshop again, and I'll also try out the others on offer, such as making apple juice or gardening. I had one minor regret about the farm visit: it started to rain and it was cold. But in the workshop it was warm and very pleasant. What's more, at the end of the workshop, the organizer offered us a taste of bread with jam or crumb, and it was very tasty! We went home with a fresh ball of bread to bake at home. A real treat!
