Discover the art of artisan baking and immerse yourself in the world of Ferme de Gally in Saint-Denis.

Learn how to make your own bread, from kneading to baking!

How it works :

• You'll be greeted by one of the farm's animators over a hot drink.
• The workshop begins with a behind-the-scenes look at how flour is made, which you'll be able to grind and sift, then get your hands dirty mixing, kneading and shaping your bread, and topping it with dried fruit or chocolate.
• While your bread is rising, you'll enjoy a special guided tour of the farm. You'll meet our animals (sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, donkeys, horses and turkeys), which you can pet and feed. Depending on the season, you can stroll through our fields and large greenhouses. You'll even be able to munch on a few cherry tomatoes, and even chillies for the bravest! You can explore the farm's Museum, which traces the history of market gardening techniques and displays our unique collection of antique farming artefacts.
• You'll then take part in a wood-fired bread-baking session. You'll enjoy a warm loaf of bread specially prepared by our animator, accompanied by delicious Gally jams or Gally honey. You'll leave with your freshly baked bread and the memory of a day spent on our urban farm, between town and country.

To prolong this moment of relaxation and discovery, you can enjoy our picnic area among the animals.

There's no parking at the farm, so allow plenty of time to find a parking space or come by public transport.
