Activity description :

  1. 45 minutes
  2. Up to 12 people
  3. For the 4-18 years old

During this activity, children will learn about paper-related issues: the history of paper, manufacturing and recycling techniques.
Children leave with a sheet of paper they've made themselves.

This workshop lasts 45 minutes and requires the presence of at least one accompanying adult for the visit to the farm and the activity.

Participation in the workshop entitles the children to visit the Ferme Ouverte de Saint-Denis and its animals: goats, sheep, horse, donkey, rabbits and chickens. Every day at 5:15 p.m. , children have the opportunity to enter the pens with an animator. At the Saint-Denis Open Farm, you'll discover the farming techniques of yesterday, today and tomorrow, through an exhibition of antique tools and vintage videos filmed by the Kersanté family.

Due to the very cold weather, we couldn't go to the urban farm for the paper workshop. Much to our regret, as everything we did there (butter workshop, apple juice workshop) was very good.

It was great! I did all the activities on this farm, the bread workshop, apple juice, butter and recycling, and I'll be back!

My two granddaughters and I attended our third workshop, on recycled paper. Led by the young and charming Penelope, the workshop went very well, the children participated well, learned a lot and left, delighted, with sheets of recycled paper to take home... Another fine afternoon, creative and instructive.

As a Works Council, we offered both the workshop and the tour. Here's what one staff member had to say: "- Recycled paper activity was very instructive and manual (eco-responsible, recycling), the farm was nice, we had a tray of vegetables to feed the animals. - A great activity to do as a family or between children, colleagues and friends".
