Become a pastry chef for an afternoon! Bake a delicious tart with apples from the Vergers de Jagny orchards, help bake it in the wood-fired oven, and enjoy it together.

During the Apple and Market Gardening Festival on Saturday, September 26, and Sunday, September 27, at the Ferme de Gally in Saint-Denis, join us for a special hands-on workshop where you’ll work together to make, bake in a wood-fired oven, and taste an apple pie made with apples from the farm!
For about an hour, a facilitator will explain to the children how apple trees are grown and how apples develop. Then, the children will work together to prepare an apple pie, which they’ll help place in the wood-fired oven for traditional baking. They’ll wrap up the workshop by tasting their delicious creation alongside their fellow apprentice pastry chefs!
