The canyon des Carmes is mainly abseiled, with only a small slide to open the descent. A small canyon with astonishing geological shapes. It's the ideal way to learn more about the geology, fauna and flora of the Vercors canyons.

Canyon des Carmes

Guided tour - 2h in the water - Easy level (this tour will introduce you to the whole activity: short abseils of less than 10 meters, jumps (not compulsory) and small natural slides).

The canyon is surprisingly steep, with waterfalls that seem to have frozen into the limestone. This is an opportunity to learn how to abseil independently. Here, you can take your time, as the canyon has little water and is surrounded by nature.

How does it work?

Your instructor will meet you at the parking lot, then we'll go and park at the canyon exit.

You'll then walk 30 minutes down to the start of the canyon.

Then the descent begins. On the program (nothing is compulsory): a small slide, a mini jump and several abseils up to 10 meters.

Once you've finished, it takes 15 minutes to reach the parking lot.
