Is a dry canyon still canyoning? That's what we'd like you to discover with this atypical and very pretty route, in a river that is only flooded after heavy rains.

Pont des Oules Canyon

Guided tour - 2h in the water - Easy level (This tour involves abseiling and ziplines, in a river that is dry for most of the year).

This canyoning trip is an opportunity to discover abseiling and zip lines, without a wetsuit, in the cool of summer, ideal for young children and those who don't like water! A cool interlude in the Drôme, suitable for children.

How does it work?

Your instructor will meet you at the parking lot, then we'll go and park at the canyon exit.

There's no need for a wetsuit here, except for children if they're very chilly in spring. You'll need to bring a change of clothes, though, as some of the puddles are still wet and it's possible to get your shoes or trouser bottoms wet.

We then walk for 5 minutes to reach the river.

Then the descent begins. On the programme: short abseils of less than 10 metres and two zip lines to avoid the puddles that remain in the water.

Once we've finished, it's a 10-minute walk back to the car.
