Just outside Grenoble, this canyon is both accessible and complete. The river has two distinct sections that can be canyoned.
Guided tour - 3h in the water - Easy level (the Furon Integral remains a sporty version of this canyon. You'll cover the two distinct parts of this river, with a break at midday).
The upper section is very steep and watery, making the descent fun and aesthetically pleasing.
The lower, more open section offers a varied course that lets you discover the many facets of the activity, with the possibility of bypassing certain obstacles.
The combination of the two makes for a sporty and varied course, ideal for challenging yourself and enjoying a day full of adventure. You can try your hand at abseiling down beautiful waterfalls, making jumps of varying heights, plus a few surprises scattered along the way. The river is wide open, allowing you to bypass most of the obstacles, making it a course that can be adapted to suit your level and desires.
At the parking lot, your instructor will give you all the equipment you need. A shuttle service will be provided to leave a car at the finish.
You'll then walk 30 minutes down to the start of the canyon.
Then the descent begins. The program includes abseils of up to 10 m, jumps of varying heights (jumps are never compulsory) and natural slides.
Once you've completed the descent, it takes 10 minutes to reach the parking lot. After a picnic break, we drive to the upper part of the canyon for the afternoon. It takes 10 minutes to reach the canyon. We'll be able to make several aesthetic abseils, a zip line, numerous jumps (never compulsory) and fun, natural slides.
It's a 45-minute climb back to the parking lot.
