During this activity, you can enjoy a first flight in a two-seater ultralight with Jean-Michel, ULM World Champion 2014 and European Champion 2013/2014.

Ambert: the perfect take-off point for microlighting

During your flight, you'll have the chance to admire the region's most beautiful landscapes: the Auvergne Volcanoes, the Sancy Massif, the Cesalier Plateau, the Plomb du Cantal, Mont Mouché, Mont Mezenc, the Pilat Massif, the Mot Lozère and, if the weather is clear, the Mont Blanc Massif and the Alps.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome and meeting with Jean-Michel, your world champion pilot.
• Briefing on the flight schedule and safety instructions.
• Flight from 10 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the option selected.
• Landing and debriefing with your pilot.

Several options are available:

• 10 minutes: flight over the airfield, with first glimpses of the sensations of flight.
• 15 minutes: over the town of Ambert, its round town hall and medieval center, the Dore plain and its ponds.
• 30 minutes: idem 15-minute flight + Volpie rock, Chansert pass, Mont Chouvet, Montaillier mountain, Croix du Fossat pass with its two valleys of glacial origin, view of Pierre sur Hautes, Ambert.res, view of Pierre sur hautes, plateau des égaux, col des Supeyres, barrage des Pradeaux then 1500 m glide back down to the airfield.
• 45 minutes: same as 30-minute flight + over the Fossat valley, Col du Beal, Chalmazel ski resort, Pierre sur Hautes, La Richarde.
• 60 minutes: flight to more distant destinations of your choice (Sancy, Cantal, Chaine des Puys, Mezenc, etc.).
