Introduction to microlight flying in Ambert, Auvergne (63)

Activity description :

Take the controls of a microlight during a training course given by Jean-Michel, European and World Champion of Pendular Microlight flight! You will discover all the rudiments of microlight piloting and you will be amazed, for sure.

The Auvergne: ideal land for microlight flying

From Ambert, fly over the Auvergne and its volcanoes during an introduction to microlight flying. You will have the opportunity to discover the Livradois-Forez regional nature park and its green natural setting. You'll have a great view!

Course of the flight :

• Welcome at the ultralight base: ground briefing and safety instructions.
• Theoretical part (1 hour): explanation of the main characteristics of the aircraft and the controls.
• Initiation flight: you will take the controls of the microlight and go for a flight in the skin of a pilot.
• Soft landing and debriefing with the pilot instructor.

Several types of microlight are available:

• Pendular ULM: ULM with a delta wing (like hang gliders)
• Multiaxis ULM: two-seater aircraft.
• ULM Autogire (gyrocopter): small ULM with a propeller and engine that looks like a helicopter.

This experience is also ideal to offer to a loved one who loves flying. Whether it's for a birthday, Christmas or an EVG/EVJF, your loved one will remember it for a long time!
