Activity description :

On this ultralight flight, you'll join Olivier in a two-seater tandem ultralight and fly over the Marmande region for an extraordinary experience. The ULM pendulaire is a two-seater ultralight aircraft with a delta wing, similar to hang-gliding.

Marmande and the Gironde: the perfect spot for microlight flying

On this tilting ultralight flight from La Réole aerodrome, you'll fly over the Canal du Midi and the Garonne. You'll also have the chance to discover the region's many castles from the air.

Course of the flight:

• Welcome at the base, some 20 km from Marmande, briefing and equipment.
• Board the pendular ultralight and take off.
• Flight duration: 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the formula chosen.
• Soft landing and debriefing with the pilot.

Several formulas are available:

• Tour de Piste" flight (20 min.): tour of the airfield runway.
• Discovery flight (30 mins.): over the Canal du Midi
• Entre deux mers" flight (45 min. ): over the Canal du Midi and the Garonne river
• Châteaux Tour" flight (1h): fly over Château Hamel, the medieval town of Saint-Macaire, the Sauternes vineyards and their wine-growing châteaux (Yquem, Fargues, Giraud....), the medieval ruin of Budos and then return to Roquetaillade castle. The flight ends with a view of Bazas cathedral and a flyover of Auros castle.
• Grande Visite des châteaux de l'Entre deux mers" flight (1h30 ): fly over the bastide town of Sauveterre de Guyenne towards the château de Rauzan. Change course for the châteaux of Benauge, then Budos and on to the châteaux of Sauternes, Yquem, Fargue, Suriraut...
