Embark on five days of intensive sailing from La Rochelle and experience total immersion in the world of sailing. Supervised by a state-qualified instructor, you'll progress aboard a Dufour 350 Grand Large, a comfortable, high-performance sailboat, ideal for an advanced course.

Program:

Monday morning, welcome in port, boat presentation and safety briefing. Throughout the week, you'll sail to emblematic destinations such as Fort Boyard, Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Saint-Denis-d'Oléron, Les Sables-d'Olonne and Île d'Yeu (weather permitting). An itinerary rich in scenery, history and sensations, adjustable according to the conditions and the crew's desires.

Course objectives :

This course is aimed at yachtsmen wishing to improve their skills or prepare for the role of skipper. You will work on all the essential skills:

• Maneuvers: tack changes, sail management, anchoring, harbor maneuvers, taking in the trunk, spinnaker.
• Steering: fine tuning, trajectory, boat balance, optimizing performance.
• Navigation: route preparation, positioning, electronic navigation, routing, watches, night sailing.
• Safety: prevention, incident management, warning procedures, evacuation.
• Technology: rigging, fittings, seamanship, engine, hull, on-board electronics.

You'll participate fully in life on board, and make daily progress in navigation. An intense, formative and unforgettable course to take your sailing to the next level.
