Embark on a full weekend of sailing from La Rochelle and experience total immersion in the world of sailing. This two-day course, accessible to beginners as well as those wishing to perfect their skills, will enable you to acquire all the essential basics: maneuvers, sailboat handling, safety, navigation, map reading, priority rules, tides, currents...

You'll sail aboard a Dufour 350 Grand Large, an elegant ocean-going monohull renowned for its comfort and performance. An ideal boat for learning in optimal conditions.

Program:

• Saturday - 9:30 am: Welcome at the port of La Rochelle, boat presentation, safety briefing and equipment discovery. First maneuvers, getting to grips with the boat and sailing in the "pertuis", a sheltered area ideal for making progress. To the south: Fort Boyard and Ile d'Aix, to the north: Ile de Ré, to the west: Ile d'Oléron.
• Lunch: Picnic at anchor, depending on weather conditions.
• Afternoon: Sailing, practical exercises, improvement and discovery of the Rochelais coastline.
• Sunday: Continuation of the program: maneuvers, technical training, map reading, priority rules, tides and currents. Return to port around 5 p.m., followed by a debriefing and boat stowage.

This weekend is a real immersion in maritime life, combining learning, sensations and sharing.
