Come aboard from La Rochelle for an introductory sailing course in the heart of the "pertuis". Learn the basics of sailing with a state-qualified instructor and experience a real maritime adventure, with maneuvers, thrills and discovering the coastline of La Rochelle.

Program:

  • 9:30 am - Meet at the port of La Rochelle Welcome by your instructor, presentation of the boat and briefing on the basics of sailing, safety and equipment. He will take time to introduce you to the Dufour 350 Grand Large sailboat, ideal for your initiation.
  • Launch and first maneuvers You'll hoist the sails and even take the helm if you wish!
  • Sailing in the "pertuis" You'll sail in a sheltered area, protected by the islands of Oléron, Ré and Aix. To the south: Fort Boyard and Ile d'Aix. To the north: Ile de Ré. To the west: Ile d'Oléron. An ideal place to learn in complete peace of mind.
  • Maneuvering and learning Under the guidance of your instructor, you'll learn the basics of sailing and perfect your skills in a safe and fun environment.
  • Lunch break Break at anchor, near an island (weather permitting).
  • Return to port Arrival mid-afternoon, followed by a debriefing and boat stowage.

  • Sunglasses with cord or strap.
  • Protective gloves for rope work.
