• The meeting point is at Via di Ponte Quattro Capi 16, across from a historic restaurant, where the guide will introduce the tour.
• We’ll cross the Ponte Cestio to sample handmade cookies at a historic pastry shop.
• Near Via Renella, we’ll try scrocchiarella, the thin, crispy Roman-style pizza.
• We’ll then head further into Trastevere for a selection of artisanal cheeses and regional cured meats, paired with wine.
• Next up is another Roman classic: the generously filled savory maritozzo.
• Time for the main course: pasta alla carbonara.
• The tour ends near Via della Lungaretta with a creamy, artisanal gelato.
