Enjoy a unique microlight flight! Why unique? Because you will take the controls of the machine and will not be only spectator!
Meaux: the perfect place to learn about microlight flying
You will fly over Meaux and its region during your microlight flight. You will have the opportunity to discover the landscapes of the Ile-de-France from the sky and take in the sights, particularly during the flight over the Disneyland Paris park.
Course of the flight :
- Welcome at the Meaux-Esbly airfield, presentation of the aircraft and briefing on the safety instructions.
- Boarding and final flight instructions.
- Take-off: carried out by the instructor pilot.
- Once in the sky, you will take control of the microlight for about twenty minutes: turns, straight lines and many other techniques.
- A smooth approach and landing is followed by a debriefing with the instructor pilot.
Several microlight models are available:
- The pendular (authentic ultralight)
- Multi-axis (more comfortable for travel)
- The gyrocopter (faster than the others)

Introduction to flying an Ulm autogyro. Pre-flight check with pilot, and occasional joystick control (pilot must avoid prohibited areas) once at safe altitude. Interesting, as this type of machine is less widely offered than pendulum or multi-axis ulms. (Note: compared to a multiaxis, you're behind the pilot, and you can't see all the instruments). Very friendly welcome. I'm very happy to have done this activity.

Know before you go
- The activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
- A signed authorisation from parents/guardians is required for minors.
- In case of postponement due to bad weather conditions, a new date must be agreed with the centre.
- Maximum weight of 115kg for the passenger.
- The introductory flight can be extended beyond 20 minutes for further practice in the piloting of the chosen microlight.
