Introduction to microlight piloting in Château-Thierry (02)

Activity description :

Want to get away for an hour? Then come and try your hand at flying with Benoît and his team of qualified instructors. You'll learn and practice the basics of microlight flying in the skies over Château-Thierry. You will be flying in a gyrocopter, a machine that is supported by rotation and propelled by a propeller. Steering is by means of a rudder.

Château-Thierry: an ideal place to discover microlight flying

During this initiation, you will fly over the most beautiful surrounding countryside: The Marne Valley, Champagne vineyards, castles, historical sites and breathtaking panoramas.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome by the instructor: discovery of the rudiments of piloting during a 30 minute briefing.
• Discovery of the microlight: tour and pre-flight visit to see all the important points of piloting.
• Boarding, take-off and first flight.
• Take control of the microlight for 30 minutes : the instructor will be at your side to give you all the necessary instructions.
• On the programme: vertical and horizontal trajectory changes, take-off and landing in the pilot's seat.

This activity is perfect to offer to a fan of aviation or simply to someone who likes to discover new sensations and who is not afraid of flying! This initiation can also be offered or done as part of an EVG/EVJF.
