Activity description :

For one hour, you’ll have the chance to make straw marquetry earrings with Alexia, who will guide you through each step.
Workshop Schedule (1 hour):
- Choose the finish for your earrings (gold or silver), then the diameter (8 mm, 12 mm, or 18 mm)
- Choose the orientation of the rye straw and select colors from a wide selection
- Separate the strands of straw
- Create a flat surface by gluing the rye straws onto a paper backing using a scalpel, a folding tool, and vinyl glue
- Once the panel is complete, cut out circles using a cookie cutter and a hammer, then glue them onto the earrings to finish your creation.
At the end of the workshop, take home a pair of straw marquetry earrings, ready to add a touch of artisanal elegance to your outfits.
