Activity description :

Over the course of 2 hours, you’ll make your own straw inlay earrings and bracelet with Alexia, who will guide you through each step.
Workshop Schedule (2 hours):
- Choose the finish for the earrings (gold or silver), then the diameter (8 mm, 12 mm, or 18 mm) / or for the bracelet (gold-plated or silver-plated)
- Choose the orientation of the rye straw and select colors from a wide selection
- Separate the strands of rye straw
- Create a flat surface by gluing the rye straws onto a paper backing using a scalpel, a folding tool, and vinyl glue
- Once the flat panel is complete, cut out circles using a cookie cutter and a hammer for the earrings, or cut out a strip for the bracelet
- Glue the circles onto the earrings or the strip for the bracelet to finish your creation.
At the end of the workshop, take home an adjustable cuff bracelet and a pair of straw marquetry earrings, ready to add a touch of artisanal elegance to your outfits.
