Sylvain invites you to fly over the Arras region and discover the Artois countryside aboard a multi-axis microlight. The multi-axis microlight is a light aircraft that resembles a plane. It's piloted using aerodynamic control surfaces, just like an airplane.
ULM in Arras: a feast for the eyes
You'll fly over the region as well as some remarkable sites and monuments. Sylvain will be delighted to take you over such magnificent sites as Arras, Vimy, the Notre-Dame-de-Lorette necropolis and Mont Saint-Eloi.
Course of the flight :
- Welcome atArras - Roclincourt airfield: introductions and final administrative formalities.
- Presentation of the microlight: special features, ground briefing and safety instructions.
- Boarding and departure from the end of the runway.
- Take-off and 30-minute flight.
- You'll have a chance to try your hand at flying, with a few turns and altitude changes.
- Soft landing and debriefing with the pilot.

When you arrive at Arras airfield, go to the 1st building on the left.
How to get there :
- By car: 10 min drive from Arras via D950
Know before you go
- The slot you can book on the calendar is theoretical; the precise time of your flight will be communicated to you a few days before.
- The activity is open to children aged 8 and over, maximum height 1m95, maximum weight 95kg, with clothing and personal effects.
- Parental authorization is required for minors.
- No special clothing is required, as the microlight is fully enclosed and heated.
- The activity is accessible to people with reduced mobility (please consult us).
- The activity is subject to weather conditions. In the event of cancellation, you will be offered a postponement.
- The requirements applicable to microlight flights do not guarantee a level of safety as high as that of certified commercial aviation. Microlights, pilots and operators are not subject to any prior checks by the authorities.
