Introduction to microlight piloting in Lille (59)

Activity description :

Olivier will take you on board his gyrocopter for an introductory flight in a microlight during which you will have the chance to hold the rudder stick. A bit of theory, a bit of practice and above all a lot of sensations! You will fly on board a microlight, a helicopter-like machine known for its manoeuvrability and stability. You also have the possibility to do your first flight in a VIP microlight with a closed cabin.

Lille: the ideal playground to try out microlights

From the Marcq-en-Barœul airfield, you will take off to discover the flamboyant landscapes of the North. You will fly over Lille and its surroundings: the Grand Place, the Palais des Beaux-Arts or the Vieille Bourse of Lille will seem tiny.

Course of the flight :

• Welcome at the airfield: presentation of the microlight, briefing on the ground (15 minutes) and safety rules.
• Boarding of the microlight and final briefing before take-off.
• Take-off and flight of 15 or 45 minutes, depending on the formula chosen.
• You will progressively take the controls and perform several manoeuvres. The opportunity to discover how the aircraft is composed according to your movements.
• Smooth landing.
• Debriefing: you will have a drink and give your feedback to the pilot.
