The flight

Generally speaking, a helicopter flight involves a number of different steps:

  • As soon as you arrive on the tarmac, you’ll be in the care of a team of committed professionals. They will explain the flight plan and how the aircraft works.
  • Then you’ll board the helicopter equipped with a headset and microphone, so you can easily communicate with the pilot during the flight. Furthermore, the headset will allow you to benefit from information about the region you are flying over. You’ll also get the chance to discover the different components of the cockpit.
  • Finally, lift off! As you soar over the region, you’ll enjoy a wonderful panoramic view and discover the different tourist spots and natural spaces down below. The flight time varies between 10 minutes and a few hours, depending on the flight plan you have chosen.
  • If you have booked a pilot introduction flight, the flight instructor will let you take the controls at some point during the flight. You'll learn the basics of flying the aircraft, with all the extra thrills that go with it!
