Pont de Soleil Rafting

Adventure Course - 4 hours - Ages 12 and up

Your instructor will meet you at the meeting point and provide you with all the necessary equipment for the activity. After a thorough briefing on safety guidelines and navigation techniques, you’ll board an inflatable raft for a challenging descent through the heart of the Verdon Gorges.

What to Expect

For 3 hours, you’ll travel nearly 18 km down the river, working together with your team to propel the raft forward and navigate the various sections of the course. Between rapids, churning waters, and calmer stretches, your guide will accompany you throughout this adventure to ensure you enjoy a thrilling experience.

The trip begins at the Taloire Bridge and ends at the famous Samson Gorge. This iconic section requires a short hike carrying the raft on foot for about 1 km—roughly fifteen minutes of teamwork—before the adventure concludes.

Once the activity is over, a minibus will take you back to the starting point.

Whitewater rafting is an ideal activity to enjoy with friends, with family (including teenagers), or in a group—a unique way to discover the Verdon and experience the thrill of adventure in an exceptional natural setting.
