Guided Tour - 6 hours - Adventure Level

The Furon Intégral Canyon combines the lower and upper sections of the famous Furon Canyon for a day packed with thrills. You’ll start with the lower section, which is ideal for getting familiar with canyoning techniques, before continuing on to the upper section, which is more fun and challenging.

Throughout the descent, you’ll tackle rappels, jumps (optional), natural slides, and water crossings in an exceptional setting. This outing is perfect for those who want a complete experience and to discover all the facets of canyoning in the heart of the Vercors.

Your guide: You’ll be accompanied by a state-certified canyoning instructor who will guide you throughout the descent and teach you the techniques needed to progress safely.

How does it work?

Your instructor will meet you in Sassenage, at the gateway to the Vercors. After a welcome, a safety briefing, and the distribution of your gear (neoprene wetsuit, helmet, and harness), you’ll head to the canyon after a roughly 20-minute approach hike.

You’ll start by descending the lower section of the canyon, which is ideal for getting your bearings and learning the techniques for navigating the various obstacles. A picnic break is planned before continuing the adventure in the upper section—which is more dynamic—where rappels, jumps, and natural slides follow one after another against a spectacular backdrop.

After about 6 hours of activity, including a 20-minute walk back, you’ll wrap up this day of adventure with a head full of memories. An unmissable experience to share with family or friends as you explore one of the most beautiful canyons in the Vercors.
