Activity description :

The Charente is an ideal place for paddling. If you enjoy paddling or would like to discover this activity, you can rent the equipment for 1 or 2 hours.

Paddling at Forges

Duration: Choice of 30 min, 1h or 2h - Initiation followed by a tour - Self-guided

Enjoy a calm, rejuvenating p addle on the Charente River, in calm waters and on a variety of routes. Departing from the Forges nautical base, you'll be able to go out on your own after an initiation by a supervisor.

How does it work?

On arrival, you'll be provided with all the necessary equipment (board, paddle, lifejacket, leash, waterproof can).
You'll be given a 10-minute introduction to stand-up paddling. Afterwards, we'll take you for a ride on the Charente river.

It's the perfect way to spend some quiet time with friends or family, while enjoying the natural surroundings.
