Departures for Vitrac are by bus from our base at La Roque-Gageac from 9.30 am to 3 pm. Return trips from Les Milandes are by bus at 12.30, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7pm.

How does it work?

This is our intermediate "Parcours des Châteaux". On this 14-kilometer cruise, you'll discover the flora and fauna of the peaceful Dordogne River and its unforgettable landscapes. You'll pass by the Templar bastide of Domme, one of France's most beautiful villages, La Roque-Gageac, the château and gardens of Marqueyssac, the fortified castle and village of La Roque-Gageac.teau-fort and the village of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, the château de Fayrac, the feudal château and the village of Beynac, and finally the château des Milandes, home of Joséphine Baker.

Along the way, you'll find numerous wild beaches, snack bars and picnic areas. Allow up to 3 hours for the descent, excluding breaks.
