Departures for Carsac are by bus from our base in La Roque-Gageac at 9.30am and 11am. Buses return from Les Milandes at 12.30, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7pm.

How does it work?

This is our most complete tour. This 25-kilometer cruise will introduce you to the flora and fauna of the peaceful Dordogne River, its cliffs, castles and unforgettable landscapes. You'll pass the foot of the Château de Monfort, which rises from the edge of its cliff, under the cliffs of Caudon, under the Templar bastide of Domme, under the cliff of Pendeuils, and past the village of La Roque-Gageac, one of the most beautiful villages in France. The "Parcours des Châteaux" then takes you on a tour of the châteaux and gardens of Marqueyssac, the fortified castle and village of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, the chateau of Fayrac, the chateau of La Roque-Gageac and the village of La Roque-Gageac, one of France's most beautiful villages.teau de Fayrac, the feudal castle and village of Beynac, and finally the Château des Milandes, home of Joséphine Baker.
