Departures for Carsac are by bus from our base in La Roque-Gageac, at 9.30am and 11am. You will arrive directly at our base in La Roque-Gageac.

How does it work?

This is our wildest route. This 16-kilometer cruise will introduce you to the flora and fauna of the peaceful Dordogne River, its cliffs and unforgettable landscapes. You'll pass by the foot of the cliff-side Château de Monfort, under the cliffs of Caudon, under the Templar bastide of Domme, under the cliffs of Pendeuils, to end your journey at La Roque-Gageac, one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Along the way, you'll find numerous wild beaches, snack bars and picnic areas. Allow up to 3 hours for the descent, excluding breaks.
