Bento Cakes" pastry workshop in Paris 12th arrondissement

The workshop was cancelled the day before as there weren't enough participants, even though we had come to Paris on purpose. Unfortunately, we're not available on the other proposed dates, as we're not from the area.

At first I thought it was up to us to make the cakes, but everything was ready .... It was a filling and deco workshop. I was disappointed.

I had a really good time at this workshop. The very girly decorations created a pleasant atmosphere. However, I would have appreciated it if you could have taken part in making the sponge cake and whipped cream. The instructor was very kind and attentive, although a little reserved and shy, which I can understand, as speaking in front of a group of eight people can be intimidating. I'm sure that with time, she'll gain in ease and confidence. She mainly guided us through the steps without much discussion. If I may say so, I think it would be interesting to liven up the workshop with little interactive questions, like "What are the basic ingredients of a sponge cake?" or "What makes up a whipped cream?". This would enable those who are not familiar with pastry-making to learn a little more. Finally, I find that, for the content of the workshop, the price is a little high.

Nice workshop, but no decorating techniques offered and therefore not learned. Quality/price ratio a little disappointing!

Lovely hostess and very pleasant setting. However, technical bugs meant that we started very late (wrong address + overbooking). In such cases, perhaps leave the cream in the fridge to prevent it from melting?

Super Atelier my wife loved it just a little too bad it didn't have enough variety of topping but otherwise the presentation 10 out of 10, the accompaniment too I recommend !

The workshop was great. The location was beautiful. The cakes were very good. However, the person running the workshop simply gave verbal instructions without showing what to do. This made it difficult for beginners. A pity.

Very interesting workshop. A good time. Too bad there's not more choice of toppings.
