Take your family canoeing or kayaking in Millau on the clear waters of the Dourbie, a wild river in the heart of a limestone canyon.

Canoeing or Kayaking in the Gorges de la Dourbie

Self-guided trip - From age 5 - Distance: 8 or 13 km

Sail through the Gorges de la Dourbie, past breathtaking cliffs and typical Aveyron villages, including the Moulin de Corp.

You can rent a 2-seater or 3-seater canoe (with 1 child aged 5 to 11 in the middle) or a kayak for 1 person for the day, with no time limit.

How does it work?

On arrival, you'll take a shuttle bus to the start of the descent, where you'll receive a briefing. The descent then proceeds at your own pace, ending at the nautical base.

Several routes are available:

• 8 km route : family-friendly and accessible to all.
• 13 km route: more technical, in a green and soothing environment.

You'll have the chance to stop for a swim and picnic at one of the many beaches along the river, where you'll be able to laugh, sunbathe and swim in between the sailing.
