Enjoy a day of canoeing or kayaking with family or friends on the Tarn near Millau in Aveyron. There are several kilometers of river to choose from, where you can enjoy a swim or picnic whenever you like.

Canoeing or Kayaking on the Tarn

Self-guided course - From 5 years - Distance: 9, 12 or 17 km

You can rent a kayak for 1 person or a canoe for 2 or 3 people (with 1 child aged 5 to 11 in the middle) for the day, with no time limit.

How does it work?

On arrival, you'll pick up all the equipment you need, then attend a briefing. You then descend at your own pace. On arrival, you'll take a shuttle bus back to the leisure center.

Several routes are available:

• 9 km course
• 12 km route: the program includes an original crossing of the town of Millau and an incredible passage under the famous Millau Viaduct. An approach to Peyre (a listed village) and an arrival at Comprégnac and its truffle house.
• 17 km route: the route starts 8 km upstream of Millau on the Dourbie, a wild and unspoilt river. Halfway along the route, the Dourbie flows into the Tarn. The adventure continues on the 9 km Tarn route, marked by a remarkable crossing of Millau and an incredible finish under the famous Millau Viaduct.

There are plenty of opportunities for swimming and picnicking at the many beaches along the river.

Laughing, sunbathing and swimming are the order of the day.
