Family-friendly, fun and safe, unstrung canyoning is the ideal way to discover the pleasure of rafting down torrents. Less technical than canyoning, unroped canyoning is more akin to aquatic hiking, and does not require the use of technical equipment. The course can be adapted to suit all tastes: the more aquatic ones stay in the water all the time, while others, less at ease with jumps for example, can avoid these obstacles by using the banks.
Guided tour - Half-day - All levels
The Tayrac canyon in the Gorges de la Dourbie. Easy to access, with modest heights, gentle slides and moderate currents.
Obstacles: jumps (not compulsory), natural slides, swimming...
Your guide: you'll be accompanied by a state-certified guide/instructor.
After an equipment session and briefing at the base, you'll have to make your own way to the start of the canyon, around 40 minutes' drive away (transport option available; please ask our partner for details). Then it's time for adventure!
Several routes are available, with levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Depending on conditions, dates and weather, activities can take place at different sites.

A great time despite the lack of water in the Dourbie! Romain, the instructor, was top-notch. Just a small comment on the lack of information from funbooker about having your own means of transport to get to the site, 40' from the activity base!
