Activity description :

Come and discover the paw prints of farm animals, and take home a cast of one of their tracks. Also discover the animal tracks trail in the Bois de Gally (St-Cyr-l'Ecole). At least one accompanying adult required for farm visit and activity. For children aged 5 to 12.
The Empreintes workshop gives access to the entire Ferme de Gally in Saint-Cyr-l'Ecole, including a visit to the animals. Children can admire the goats, sheep, cows, pigs, hair, donkeys, pigs and chickens of the Ferme Ouverte. At least one accompanying adult must be present for the farm visit and activity.

Really nothing remarkable. Too many kids, no room for my 2 boys. All this for 1 print per child. The animator didn't really animate. It was a waste of time and money.

My daughter didn't like it at all. Not interesting and not as good as the other workshops at Gally Farm.

Interesting workshop, but it's a shame that in the courtyard of the ferme de Gally a group of handicapped adults, two of them, pounced on me to rip out the prints in the white bag given to me by the animator - thinking they were cakes - which made my little daughter scream in fear!

I've done a lot of workshops with my grandchildren, always delighted ... but this one was a dud! When you register the children, they tell you no more than 12 children is perfect ... in fact there were 18 ... with parents bringing bawling babies, it's very difficult for the organizer to make himself heard, and as a result the children are much less involved .... It's all very well to raise money, but you have to be fair ..... 12 is not 18 .........

Explanations a little too long and lacking in little games that would allow children to participate more actively. The second part in the woods, where the children make the footprints, is much nicer.

Friendly welcome, dynamic and pleasant activity leader. However, the activity was very brief: after presenting the prints to the children (very interesting), the workshop consisted of plating one of the prints in clay...

Well done for the location and the atmosphere, with an animator who was patient and listened to the children. However, a link between the prints, shown too quickly, and the animals, some of them stuffed and on display, would have been interesting. What's more, the activity lasts more like half an hour than the 45 minutes advertised.

The age range prevents the little ones from expressing themselves. The host should do a better job of distributing the right to answers. Otherwise very interesting.

Know before you go
- Workshops are limited to about ten children.
- Workshop participants are expected to arrive 15 minutes before the session starts. Please bring your reservation voucher with you.
- Registration for the fingerprinting activity is limited to children ages 5 through 12.
- Children remain the responsibility of their guardians and parents, including during the activity.
- Please do not feed or pick up the animals for their well-being.
- A tour of the Ferme de Gally is included in the workshop price.
- In case of rain or cold weather, we will bring the animals inside.

- Wednesday: 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Île-de-France school breaks: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
