At the Ferme Ouverte de Gally in Saint-Denis, children will take part in an apple juice workshop.
For 45 minutes, an animator will explain to children how to grow apple trees, and then they'll make their own apple juice with apples from Gally's pick-your-own orchard. Children can use the grugette and the press, and then taste the fresh apple juice they've made themselves.
Participation in the workshop entitles the children to a visit to the Saint-Denis Open Farm and its animals: goats, sheep and chickens. Every afternoon, children take part in feeding and caring for the animals. At the Saint-Denis Open Farm, you'll discover farming techniques of yesterday, today and tomorrow, through an exhibition of old tools and vintage videos shot by the Kersanté family.
