Hammam & scrub in Paris 4th district

No well-being, fast, unclear

A very disappointing experience. This hair salon has obviously added a mini hammam to its basement just to diversify its income, but with no concern for comfort or hygiene. The welcome was cold, and hygiene conditions were a real cause for concern: a garbage can sat on top of a scrubbing table, surrounded by cleaning equipment. The scrub, carried out at full speed, took place in a cold room. In the shower, a capricious hot-water tank, and to top it all off, an empty shampoo bottle left there - no soap was provided for customers, along with a hairbrush. Honestly, I doubt the establishment is actually licensed to offer this type of service.

Hello I showed up with my wife for my massage session or to my surprise there were two young boys who were at the same time as me so the session was not honored, I request an immediate refund. Thank you for your understanding. Mr OLIVEIRA MUISEZ

Disappointing experience despite a gift that promised a moment of relaxation. We had booked for 11am, but our slot had been allocated to others. After asking us to wait 30 minutes, we weren't picked up until an hour later. In the hammam, there were no clocks or water available. The obligatory shower before and after the hammam was done with a simple jet of water, similar to those used to clean the floors, which is far from pleasant. The scrub was very disappointing: the gloves didn't seem clean, reused without cleaning between customers. What's more, the scrubbing was anything but delicate, making for an uncomfortable experience. Fortunately, only the massage was satisfactory. However, given the rest of the experience, I would not recommend this establishment.

The lady who took care of us was not welcoming. The treatment lasts 1 hour (60 min for 2 things: hammam and scrub). We were told to stay in the hammam for 10 minutes (strange, as we thought a scrub wouldn't last long, so what awaited us for the remaining 50 minutes?) I'll tell you in advance: in our case: soap, cold and a lot of waiting! We're then told that once we're out of the hammam to put on some black soap (which we do) and that the lady will be back to take care of us. We were simply forgotten for half an hour in the cold in our bathing suits with soap all over our bodies (the suits were dry and we called 3 times for the lady to come back but no answer from her). When we got back after a long wait, she asked us to rinse off and then proceeded to scrape our skin without any delicacy whatsoever with a washcloth. Don't go, you'll be scoured but not relieved (:

I was "forgotten" for over an hour, even though the temperature inside the hammam was set at 45°... On leaving, just before the exfoliation, I felt very unwell, dizzy, nauseous... I didn't appreciate their black soap paste at all, which smelled bad and irritated my eyes... The hairdresser didn't give me the right advice, as she was very busy and the person who was supposed to take care of me arrived very late...

For an overall service that was supposed to last 2h, it lasted 1h15. 15min massage instead of 20min. The masseuses talked amongst themselves during the session, making it difficult to fully immerse oneself. A bit disappointing. The size of the hammam was very pleasant for two people, and the scrubbing was good.

Paid for a 1h30 service that didn't even last 1h, it's a scam! I asked the lady in charge for a refund, and she told me it's a matter of getting undressed and dressed before leaving.

Hello, On the plus side: Pleasant staff. Negative side: Too much waiting between hammam, scrub and massage. Massage only on the back, surprising I didn't do the front. Only 1 shower, no changing room.

Lots of waiting, little privacy, but the treatments are really well done and the staff are friendly.

In line with the very affordable price. We're not upmarket in terms of welcome, service and facilities, but it's a cute place and we're the only ones enjoying it, which is nice.
