Enjoy a memorable experience on a hot-air balloon ride in Niort, over the Marais Poitevin. You'll enjoy a breathtaking view of the magnificent Niort countryside, accompanied by an experienced balloonist with over 5,000 flight hours to his credit. Flights take place early in the morning or in the evening, for a completely safe experience.
Niort: the ideal place to discover hot-air ballooning
You'll be able to admire Niort's canals and monuments, such as the Château de Coudray-Salbart, the Baie de l'aiguillon... You'll have a view of the communal marshes, the dried marshes, Maillezais Abbey, the Île de la Dive and Saint-Clément.
Course of the flight :
- Welcome : short briefing and theoretical training
- Hot-air balloon inflation : unfolding the envelope and the burners put hot air into the balloon.
- Gentletake-off from Niort for a flight of 1h or 1h20, depending on the option selected. There is no predetermined circuit, as the balloon is steered by the wind.
- Gentlelanding and balloon recovery
- Arrival: Aeronaut's drink, diploma and return to the initial departure point in Mickaël's vehicle.

The flight did not take place as it was cancelled by the local representative. No further information, impossible to get anyone on the phone: busy lines: "we'll call you back...never !!!!

we were surprised by the change of the place of departure knowing that at 19:30 we had phoned you, you confirmed the time (7:15) and the place (Epannes) we then enjoyed our evening without having our phone near us what makes that your message in text modifying the place of the gathering we saw it only on Monday morning so that on 7,two were in Niort and 5 in Epannes fortunately the young woman who had to take care of the biggest balloon was top notch in giving us the take-off site, she was great, and getting us a basket for the 7 of us was top notch. as for the flight itself, it was a great experience, despite the regret of not having flown over the marshes but over the plain. It's a real shame, but we understood that it was the vagaries of the wind that weren't there, except on landing, which caused the basket to lie down, and for me that was a delicate moment, but nothing serious; it won't stop us from taking off again! thank you

Know before you go
- Duration: 3h15 including 1h flight or 3h30 including 1h20 flight depending on type of flight
- Flight times: Spring - Summer: from 5am to 7am and from 5pm to 9pm Autumn - Winter: from 8am to 9am and from 3pm to 5pm
- Please contact the funpro for the weather report: the day before the flight from 7pm for a morning flight; the same day from 1:30pm for an evening flight.
- Not suitable for pregnant women, children under 7 or people with reduced mobility. Pregnant women are accepted during the 1st trimester of pregnancy.
- Recommended attire: no heels, skirts or shorts. Cap or hat recommended.
- In the event of bad weather, a postponement will be offered - no refunds possible.
- This partner specifies that passengers weighing over 90kg must make an appointment in the morning only during the months of June, July, August and September. They will not be able to make evening appointments during these months.
- All passengers must be able to stand upright for the duration of the flight without external assistance, and climb into the gondola under their own power.
