  2. Up to 10 people
  3. From 10 years old

Immerse yourself in an ancestral skill in the heart of nature and let us guide you in the discovery of wild plants used in basketry, a craft that consists of weaving plant fibers to create objects, during a workshop as original as it is creative.

Course of the activity (2h) :

  • Stroll to discover local plants used in wild basketry, such as bramble, clematis or willow, and learn how to identify them and harvest them while respecting their natural cycle.
  • Discover traditional basket-making techniques and gestures: simple braiding, splints, bramble tongs and hoops.
  • Practical introduction to rush and willow, with stem harvesting and the creation of a braided object (fish), accessible to all levels.

The aim of this workshop is to teach you the basics of wild basketry, from recognizing plants to transforming them, while producing an aesthetic and sustainable creation. A simple, creative moment... to experience and share!
